The X-Plane Unofficial Blog is being phased into the Executive Admin’s Blog

Don’t worry, nothing much has changed. Only that this blog is soon to be no longer the main page. The new main page can not be found on the sidebar, as it is not complete. By the way, the Blog Admin is now the Executive Admin.

THE 10 STAGE PLAN

Just so you know, the process of converting this simple blog into a major website will consist of 10 stages. I have reached stage 3

Stage 1: found website

Stage 2: Create relatively large single-admin blog

Stage 3: Hire team to begin major expansion

Stage 4: obtain custom domain and start custom coding with permission from WordPress

Stage 5: Get license from Laminar Research – make website official

Stage 6: Convert to forum, get advertisers and agencies; start paying members

Stage 7: Start Sub-blogs ran by different Admins; expand board

Stage 8: Partially separate from WordPress; expand forum

Stage 9: Finish up

Stage 10: Become more than a Website…

NOW HIRING

I am now hiring other WordPress Users into my “Cockpit”, which is what I call my board. I will always be the Blog Admin; ranks are as follows:

The following ranks are in highest to lowest power over the blog, and there can only be one of each:

Executive Admin – Control Entire Blog

General Admin – Write Posts, Organize Meetings within the Administration, Allowed to e-mail Blog Admin personally, Receives notifications from lower ranking admins

Management Admin – Hire all ranks below Moderation Admin for the Cockpit (with permission from the Blog Admin), Fire Lower-Ranking Members, Advertise for Blog

Moderation Admin – Approve/Unapprove/Flag/etc. Comments, Post General Warnings, Moderate Posts and Comments, Scan for Malware throughout the site, Report any hackers or files containing viruses to General Admin

Admin’s Secretary – Fixes Spelling and Grammar errors made by Admins when they write posts

Division Leader (Chief Moderator, Chief Editor, Chief Writer) – Monitor Divisions, can override actions taken by members of his/her division

There can be multiple people with these titles and they are all equal in rank:

Moderator – Flags inappropriate comments, Reports Confusing Comments to the Moderation Admin

Editor – Edits Posts and Comments made by Moderators and Writers

Writer – Writes Posts

Please note that when you first join, you will not get paid. However, if the website does well and we get sponsors, you will get a share of the earnings.
