I’m back/Waiting for X-Plane 10 to post further info

A while ago, my computer got corrupted… I had nothing to post. I had to clear the hard drive, and since I did not know what was corrupted and what wasn’t, I did not copy X-Plane to an external hard drive.

Before I decided to go through the dreadfully long process to reinstall X-Plane 9, I thought for a moment, and decided that it was time to wait for X-Plane 10 to be released to install anything.

I will publish my next post when I buy X-Plane 10 and test it.

Comment Update

If you are a WordPress Member, you may now comment without risks. I confirmed it with the support team. Since I could only confirm this for other WordPress Members, you must have an account in order to comment on my blog.

The X-Plane Commentary Weblog is now The X-Plane Unofficial Blog

Sorry for the confusion everyone, but I felt that this title is a little bit more accurate. I was the X-Plane Commentary Forum Leader, but as you can see, I changed my name to Blog Admin.

35 version countdown.

The current X-Plane version running is 9.65.

10.00-9.65=.35

That’s right, 35 versions left until X-Plane 10!

Yes, I know that there is not a fixed date. I am just trying to be optimistic about all of this.

Double Good News, Triple Bad News

GOOD NEWS: Finally doing combat videos for YouTube; Progress being made on the Akismet issue

BAD NEWS: X-Plane started to crash again; More and more users being banned by Akismet – not quite done solving that problem; new update 9.65 just made the sim slower (when the thing does work)

Hold-up

Unfortunately, all previous projects must go on hold. I can’t find the time to work on them. But don’t worry, the project is not cancelled, it will NEVER be! Just be patient.

forums.x-plane.org now has a link to this site; long term project in progress

On my profile on X-Plane.org, I have posted a link to this blog. As a general notice, I am in the process of making a huge payware aircraft with a freeware counterpart. It will take several months to complete, as you see, it is highly complex. It is the entire series of U.S.S. Enterprises used in Star Trek Movies one to ten and the ones in the TOS and TNG. The individual specifications of the ships are listed below.

PAYWARE VERSION

All Enterprises, original to NCC-1701-E.

Fully Interactive crew members

Customized Radio

Scenery for an Earth Module

Warp drive to travel to a different planet, bringing up new scenery

Shuttlecraft

entire interior is simulated and 3D

custom sounds

full size models

phaser arrays and banks as seen in movies and tv series.

FREEWARE VERSION

full-size original Enterprise and its refit

3D Bridge, Crew Deck, Engineering Deck and Shuttlebay

Earth Spacedock scenery

custom sounds and radio

non-interactive crew members

default X-Plane death lasers

There are more features, but I’m not going to spoil you all more than I already have. Anyways, do you see now WHY I this will take months. Oh, and do not comment until I tell you to do so – it will end up as spam and you will have problems with your profiles.

New videos in making

I am now making an instructional video on YouTube on how to fix bugs on X-Plane. Enjoy!

X-Plane Mobile Announcements

I am now hosting a forum for X-Plane Mobile Apps, being that the majority of X-Plane users play the sim on mobile devices.

Please don’t make fun of my blog.

Recently, someone said something about one of my posts that was very rude. If you have nothing nice to type, don’t type it.
